Allison is the best! She was great with communicating with us leading up to our photoshoot, and when the night came to take our pictures, it was as if we were hanging out with a good friend! Not only is she super sweet and professional, but her photos are stunning, candid, and really captures “us” as a couple. We can’t wait to use her for family photos for years to come!

Not only is Allison a thoughtful and generous friend, she is also the most thoughtful and generous photographer. She is always prepared, scoping out shooting locations and researching shots ahead of time. She really takes your input into account, whether it's shots you want to make sure to get or the fact that you'd love a few pictures on film. She is flexible and accommodating. When it poured during my wedding and the picture schedule was altered, she came up with an idea for a photo receiving line that all the guests loved and ended in pictures with some of our favorite people on our wedding day. Her thoughtfulness is evident in the care she took with our wedding and engagement photos. We absolutely love how she captured our favorite day and I cannot recommend her enough!

True to color, true to you
Part of capturing nostalgic and authentic imagery means when you look at your images decades from now, they’ll provide a perfect portal back to your day. Everything from my posing to my editing style is done with the idea of timelessness in mind. Whether we are together for a wedding day or a mini session, I will always come with poses at the ready and direct you in a way that feels natural and easy! (Don’t worry, I never expect you to pose yourself!)
My editing style is a golden hour true to color (which basically means it’s just accentuating the natural color that already exists, while accentuating the natural warmth of the photo !) This way you’ll never have to worry about an editing trend going out of style.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY IMAGES TO BE DELIVERED?
Regular one hour sessions typically take between 2 - 3 weeks to be delivered, with weddings ranging from 8 - 12 weeks.

HOW DO YOU BACK UP MY IMAGES?
On wedding days, I shoot with double the gear. This means I always have an extra if something were to happen to a body or lens! Each camera body I shoot with has a dual slot: meaning that each photo I snap is copied to two different cards simultaneously! (And don’t worry, my camera won’t even turn on unless I have two cards loaded in!) When I get home, I back up the images on two separate hard drives, and for extra safe keeping, I hold onto the SD card until I deliver your final gallery.

Do you require a retainer to book?
Yes I do! For both weddings and regular sessions, I request a 30% non-refundable retainer to secure your session date. Your deposit is due within a week of signing your contract.

At this time, we are only offering photography services, but hope to offer videography in the future!
