Abbey + Jackson – Creighton Grad Session

Grad season is finally over and I’m both happy and sad! Happy because now I can get caught up on editing the sessions, but sad because I always LOVE being back on Creighton’s campus and celebrating graduation week! It’s so special to be able to witness the joy and excitement of each senior as they near graduation and I am genuinely super honored to capture some of their final “lasts” on campus. As a class of 2020 grad, I never was able to participate in my own graduation activities because of the pandemic so working with all these Creighton grads is a nice way for me to live vicariously through them!!

I met Abbey and Jackson last year when Jackson booked a session to surprise Abbey for her birthday and was SOOO excited to work with them to capture their grad photos!! I loved that we were able to create a hybrid grad / couples session since they made it to this milestone together!

We had the most gorgeous spring flowers to work with that are in bloom for one week only, and shot with the Creighton arch and Morrison Stadium in the background. We finished at the Billy the Bluejay statue, because no Creighton grad session is complete without Billy!

These two are headed off to Chicago and I couldn’t be more proud of them. Best of luck to you both!! <3
